Also known as a barefoot massage, Ashiatsu is administered by using my feet as I use my body weight to provide deep, even pressure while manipulating my toes, heels, and arches over your body. The combination of muscle compression and light stretching can provide therapeutic benefits such as improved circulation, reduced joint tension, temporary relief of pain in tight muscles, and an overall sense of relaxation. Ashiatsu massage is another form of myofascial release where I use my body weight through my feet, to distribute pressure in a very slow motion to directly release tension in the muscle tissue.
